Welcome to Annoh and sons agrochemicals.

Weedup: (480g/litre glyphosate isopropylamine salt).
It is a foliar applied herbicide which is translocated to the roots of plants and then kills the entire plant. Weedup will kill annual plants as well as perennial grasses, sedges, shrubs and broadleaf weeds. Weedup is taken up by the green parts of the plants (NOT MATURE BROWN BARK) and the plants must be growing vigorously and not withered or covered in dust. It also has no residual soil activity and is not taken up by roots.
Weeds Controlled: weedup will control a wide range of annual broad leaf and grass weeds, perennial grasses(cynodon species, imperata cylindrical, penniselum clandestinum, phragmites species and others), sedges(cyperus species), perennial broadleaves(chromolaena odorata, lanta camera and others)and aquatic weeds(eichhornia crassipes pistia statiots and others).
How to use:

  • Spray only on actively growing weeds.
  • Use clean, not brack water
  • Do not apply if rain threatens within 4 to 6hrs after application
  • Take extreme care to avoid drift to neighboring crop.
  • Do not mix with other herbicides or add other wetters.

Weedup works best on undisturbed weeds. Do not spray on weeds suffering from drought stress. For optimum results, spray at a low pressure (1.0 bar or 100 kpa) and at a low volume (100-200/spray volume/ha) to give an even droplet distribution on the target foliage. Avoid spray solution run-off from the foliage.
Equipment:

  • Apply with knapsacks or mounted booms at 100-600/spray volume/ha; or with controlled droplet. Applicators at 5.0-20.01/ha; or by aircraft at 20-50/ha.

Recommendations: apply in 300-600litres of water per hectare according to weed density and height. Do not exceed a pressure of 2.0 bars or 200kpa, during spraying.
Precaution: avoid contamination of food, feed, drinking water and seed. Wash equipment after use. Do not store or mix galvanized or unlined mild steel tanks or containers. Weedup may react with such containers to produce a highly inflammable gas and could create a dangerous hazard if exposed to an ignition source such as a lighted cigarette. Do not use empty containers for any other purpose.

Anna: 720/L2.4.D amino salts). Selective herbicide.
Anna is a selective anti-dicotyledonous herbicide used widely and effectively in control of annual, biennial and perennial broadleaved weeds. Anna is a selective of monocotyledon crops such as (rice, millet, maize, sorghum, pastures, and cane).
Direction for use: generally, apply it on the crop in the following dosage:

Crop Dosage and water volume Dosage
Rice 40ml/15l 1 litre/hectare
Maize 30ml/15l 0.75litre/hectare
Pastures 40ml/15l 1litre/hectare
Millet 40ml/15l 1litre/hectare
Cane 60ml/15l 1.5litre/hectare

Caution:

  • Do not eat, drink nor smoke while applying.
  • Avoid inhaling the pressurized air from spraying.
  • Avoid exposing the eyes and the skin to it.
  • Carefully have a bath with water and soap after use. In case of intoxication by accident call a doctor.

Gramma Super: gramma super is a contact herbicide used to control or suppress a broad spectrum of emerged weeds. Gramma super controls most small annual weeds -both broadleaves and grasses, and suppress perennial weeds by destroying green foliage. It can also be used as a desiccant/defoliant at harvest. It also has the ff characteristics:

  • Effective against a wide range of weeds.
  • Rapid action-controls most weeds within 3-4days.
  • No damage to mature bark
  • Rain occurring 15minutes after application will not affect its activity.
  • Deactivated by the soil new crops can be planted 4hrs after treatment.
Crops Dosage rate Water to be mixed
Water melon, cantalop pumpkin 1.5-3.0/ha Mix 100-200ml with 25-50l water
Maize, sunflower, tobacco 1.5-3.0l/ha Mix 100-200ml with 25-50l water
Orchard, tea garden 3.0-4.5l/ha Mix 200-300ml with 25l water
Forest 3.0-4.5l/ha Mix 200-300ml with 25l water
Bean 1.5-3.0l/ha Mix 100-200ml with 25-50l water
Sugarcane 1.5-3.0l/ha Mix 100-200ml with 25-50l water.

Equipment: with knapsack and hand held sprayers mix at least 100pints of water with each pint of gramma super. Be sure that the spray and the nozzles are clean and working correctly. Use the appropriate nozzles and necessary pressure. Agitate the bottle before mixing. Half fill the spray tank with clean water, add the necessary quantity of gramma super and complete filling the tank. If the bottle is emptied rinse it at least three times and add the rest to the spray mixture. Continue to agitate during spraying, be sure to obtain a uniform spray. After preparing the spray apply as soon as possible. Do not leave the spray unused in the tank for a long period. After use wash equipment thoroughly. Treat weeds when they are young and at a height of less than 15cms. Avoid contact of the spray with the green parts of the crop. Use higher dosage on dense weed growth, prevent drift into neighboring crops. To obtain the best results, treat regrowth without delay, by using programmed treatment or spot treatment.
Re-entry period: 12-24hrs after application.
Storage: store the chemical in a well-ventilated area out of reach of children and domestic animals. Hydrolyze in alkaline media. Do not mix or store in container or systems made of aluminum fittings. Remove clothing immediately if gramma super gets inside, then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothes. Remove PPE immediately after handling. Wash the outside of gloves before removing. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing. After emptying the container rinse three times, add washings to spray tank. Dispose of empty rinsed container by crushing, cutting then burning or burying. Do not use it again. Do not dump it in water; keep animals away until the spray has dried.
